✦ Our Vision and Mission ✦

Chryptor. Own your privacy.

Chryptor is an innovative offline app that uses local encryption to help you keep selected text and files private when storing or sharing them.

CKeep using your existing apps. The easiest way to encrypt sensitive information before it reaches the cloud, another app, or anyone else.

Use any app. Trust none of them.
Own your privacy

The deal is broken.

The world today revolves around collecting your data, connecting it, analyzing it, and using it to build a broad picture of who you are.

What you write.

Who you talk to.

Where you go.

What you buy.

What you search for.

What you believe.

What you fear.

Who you love.

Who you vote for.

What you pray to.

Bit by bit, your life becomes a profile.

That profile is valuable. So it is collected, sold, traded, leaked, purchased, scraped, analyzed, and abused by corporations, data brokers, criminals, and state actors.

Many services are free. They give you email, storage, messaging, search, maps, keyboards, photo backups, document tools, and everything else you need to live online.

But the real cost is privacy.

They say, “trust us.”

They say, “your data is safe with us.”

They say, “we only collect what we need.”

They say, “your messages are protected.”

Then they get hacked and say sorry.

Or they collect more than they should, sell access to your attention and behavior, get caught, pay a fine, and continue. Just the cost of doing business.

Chryptor exists because this deal is broken.

You should be able to use the digital world without handing over your private life.

Our Vision

Use the internet without surrendering ownership of your private life.

Our vision is a world where people can benefit from modern digital services without paying for them with their privacy.

We do not believe privacy should be a luxury.

We do not believe privacy should require technical expertise.

We do not believe privacy should depend on trusting a corporation.

We do not believe privacy should be rented through another subscription.

Privacy is not suspicious. Privacy is normal.

It is the basis of a free society. It protects journalists, activists, whistleblowers, dissidents, domestic abuse survivors, political opponents, vulnerable communities, and ordinary people who simply do not want their lives turned into someone else’s business model.

And even if you think you have nothing to hide, you probably still do.

Would you email your full browsing history to a stranger?

Would you send your private photos to the front desk of your local police station?

Would you forward every message you ever wrote to a political representative?

Would you give a company your location history, your contacts, your notes, your documents, and your private conversations because they promised to behave?

Probably not.

That discomfort exists for a reason.

Privacy is not about hiding wrongdoing. Privacy is about control. It is about deciding what belongs to you, what you share, who sees it, and under what conditions.

Maybe you trust the people in power today. Fine. But what about those who come after them?

A society where everyone is watched becomes a society where people self-censor. They search less freely, speak less openly, associate more carefully, and eventually think more quietly.

That is bad for everyone.

Chryptor’s vision is simple:
People should be able to use the internet without surrendering ownership of their private lives.
Our Mission

Make personal encryption simple enough for everyone.

Chryptor’s mission is to make personal encryption simple enough for everyone.

Not just developers.

Not just security experts.

Not just people who understand cryptography.

Everyone.

Chryptor helps you encrypt files and messages locally, on your own device, before you send them, upload them, store them, or share them through the platforms you already use.

It is not a messaging app.

It is not cloud storage.

It is not a communication service.

It is not another account-based platform.

It is not another company asking you to trust it with your life.

Chryptor is simply a tool that helps you encrypt and decrypt your own data.

You want to use your cloud drive?
Fine. Upload encrypted files.

You want to use your messaging app?
Fine. Send pre-encrypted text.

You want to keep using the internet as it exists today?
Fine. Just stop giving every platform readable access to everything.

That is the mission of Chryptor:
Use the tools you already use, but stop paying with your privacy.
Why Chryptor Exists

Because the same companies that move your messages often profit from knowing you.

The biggest advertising companies also operate some of the world’s most widely used messaging apps, email services, keyboards, cloud platforms, browsers, and operating systems.

That should make everyone uncomfortable.

Even when a service claims end-to-end encryption, the question is not always whether the message is encrypted while it travels from one user to another.

The better questions are:

What does the app see before the message is encrypted?

What does the keyboard see while you type?

What metadata is collected?

What gets backed up to the cloud?

What permissions does the app have?

What happens when policies change?

What happens when the company gets hacked?

What happens when someone powerful asks for access?

What happens when AI can analyze millions of messages, files, and behavioral signals instantly?

In the past, surveillance required people to manually search, read, and interpret information.

Now, data can be fed into AI systems and queried directly.

“What is this person’s political affiliation?”

“What religion do they follow?”

“What are they afraid of?”

“Who do they trust?”

“Who could influence them?”

“What are they likely to do next?”

This is not science fiction. This is the logical result of collecting too much data in one place for too long.

Chryptor exists to reduce what others can see in the first place.

Not by asking them to behave.

By giving them less readable data.

The Chryptor Approach

Encrypt before someone else’s platform gets involved.

Chryptor takes a simple position:

Encrypt before you share.

Encrypt before you upload.

Encrypt before you send.

Encrypt before someone else’s platform gets involved.

If a company says, “Upload your files to our drive, we promise not to look,” then upload encrypted files.

If a messaging app says, “Send your messages here, we promise not to peek,” then send encrypted text.

If a platform says, “Trust us,” Chryptor gives you a better option:

Trust less. Encrypt more.

Chryptor works locally, with no internet dependency, no account requirement, and no key custody.

Your data is encrypted on your device, under your control, before it enters someone else’s ecosystem.

That is the point.

What We Stand Against

Privacy should not feel like another subscription trap.

We stand against the idea that privacy should be the price of convenience.

We stand against the idea that every useful digital product needs to become a subscription.

We stand against the idea that people should lose access to basic privacy tools because they missed a monthly payment.

We stand against the idea that privacy should depend on permanent access to a company’s servers.

We stand against the endless SaaS model where users never own anything, never finish paying, and remain dependent forever.

Chryptor is built with a different mindset.

Pay once.

Own the tool.

Use it offline.

Keep control.

Privacy should not feel like another subscription trap.

What Chryptor Is

A simple encryption tool for everyday people.

Chryptor is a simple encryption tool for everyday people.

It helps you protect files, text, and private information before using the platforms you already use.

Chryptor is built around local control.

That means:

no unnecessary accounts

no cloud storage

no messaging service

no hosted communication platform

no key custody

no recovery service

no subscription dependency

no access to your unencrypted data

minimal permissions

offline-first use

local vault

encrypted text output

simple workflows that normal people can understand

Chryptor does not try to replace your email provider, your cloud drive, or your messaging app.

It sits before them.

It helps you encrypt first.

Then you decide where the encrypted data goes.

What Chryptor Is Not

Not another platform. Not another company asking for blind trust.

Chryptor is not another platform.

It is not trying to lock you into a new ecosystem.

It is not a social network.

It is not a cloud provider.

It is not a SaaS product pretending to protect you while keeping you dependent.

It is not a company holding your keys and promising to be responsible forever.

It is not a service that says, “do not worry, we have access, but we would never use it.”

Chryptor is not built around trust.

It is built around reducing the need for trust.

Our Product Principles

The product should feel practical, not academic.

01

Privacy must be simple

Most privacy tools fail because normal people cannot use them.

If encryption feels like homework, people will not use it.

Chryptor should be simple enough for anyone to encrypt a file, protect a message, store private information, or send encrypted text without needing to understand what happens under the hood.

The product should feel practical, not academic.

02

Encrypt before the platform

The platform should not be the first line of defense.

Your message should not become private only after a messaging app decides to encrypt it.

Your file should not become protected only after a cloud provider promises not to inspect it.

Chryptor’s principle is simple:

Protect the data before it leaves your control.

03

No accounts

Accounts create identity trails.

They create databases.

They create recovery processes.

They create support obligations.

They create attack surfaces.

They create dependency.

Chryptor does not require an account.

You open the tool, encrypt your data, decrypt your data, and move on with your life.

04

No key custody

Chryptor does not hold your keys.

Chryptor does not recover your keys.

Chryptor does not manage your secrets.

That is intentional.

If someone else can recover your keys, someone else can become a path into your private data.

Ownership means control. Control means responsibility.

Own your privacy also means own your keys.

05

Offline by design

A privacy tool should not require constant contact with a server to do its basic job.

Chryptor always works offline because encryption and decryption should happen locally, on your device.

No internet access.

No servers.

No background dependency that turns privacy into another promise.

06

Minimal permissions

A privacy app should not behave like spyware.

It should not ask for access it does not need.

It should not quietly collect data in the background.

It should not demand your contacts, location, microphone, camera, files, or identity unless a feature actually requires it and the user clearly understands why.

The less the app can access, the better.

07

Built for the world people actually use

People are not going to abandon every platform overnight.

They will still use email.

They will still use messaging apps.

They will still use cloud drives.

They will still send files through whatever tool is convenient.

Chryptor accepts reality.

The goal is not to force people into a new closed ecosystem.

The goal is to help them protect their data before using the ecosystems that already exist.

08

One-time payment mindset

We do not like the subscription model for basic privacy.

Privacy should not become another monthly bill.

Chryptor is designed with a one-time payment mindset wherever possible. You buy the tool, you use the tool, and it remains yours.

We are a company, not a charity.

We need to make money to build, improve, maintain, and support the product.

But we do not believe that making money requires turning privacy into rent.

The Chryptor Promise

We are not here to ask for more trust.

We are here to reduce how much trust you need to give.

Chryptor does not read your files.

Chryptor does not scan your messages.

Chryptor does not sell your data.

Chryptor does not store your keys.

Chryptor does not become your cloud.

Chryptor does not become your messaging app.

Chryptor does not make privacy dependent on a monthly subscription.

Chryptor does not pretend that “free” means free when the real price is your private life.

We are building Chryptor for one reason:

So you can keep using the digital world without handing all of yourself to it.

Chryptor. Own your privacy.
